Job summary

KMC Stampings is seeking an Human Resources Generalist in Port Washington, WI to own full-cycle recruiting and partner with leaders on workforce planning, retention, and HR programs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role focuses on building relationships, strengthening the employee experience, and ensuring compliance with employment laws while delivering practical HR solutions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• Experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems is preferred.
• Ability to organize competing priorities and manage projects.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Working knowledge of HR principles and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for non-exempt roles and support exempt roles.
• Collaborate with managers to define job duties and qualifications.
• Source qualified candidates via networks, job boards, and social media.
• Build relationships with schools and universities to source talent.
• Partner with teams to improve retention and employee experience.
• Oversee performance review processes to ensure consistency.
• Assist in HR initiatives and practical solutions aligned with company goals.
• Respond to employee and leader inquiries about HR policies.
• Coordinate company-sponsored events and activities.
• Maintain knowledge of employment laws and ensure policy compliance.
• Support culture reinforcement and performance expectations.
