Job summary

EPEC Solutions, Inc. in Clayton, NC is seeking an HR Generalist to support a multi‑company organization with office and manufacturing operations.

You will focus on full‑cycle recruiting, benefits and leave administration, onboarding, and HR compliance to ensure accurate records and efficient processes. You will serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers, balancing administrative work with employee-facing responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, warehouse, or employee-intensive environments.
• HR Certification (SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
• Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience owning full-cycle recruiting and benefits and leave administration.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a small HR team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the recruitment lifecycle from posting, screening, interviewing, offers, and onboarding.
• Partner with managers to support efficient hiring processes and positive candidate experiences.
• Administer onboarding, including new-hire docs, I-9, and policy acknowledgments.
• Track onboarding requirements and maintain compliant records.
• Source pipelines through job boards, referrals, partnerships, and events.
• Maintain requisitions, candidate records, and reporting on pipeline metrics.
• Coordinate pre-employment screening per company policy.
• Manage relationships with staffing agencies and escalate rate/contract matters.
• Maintain accurate recruiting and onboarding records.
• Provide guidance on performance, attendance, and policy interpretation.
