DP World seeks an HR Generalist at our York location to partner with employees and leaders in delivering HR support across relations, performance, recruitment, onboarding, attendance, benefits, policy administration and engagement.

In a fast-paced environment, this on‑the‑floor role requires approachability, organization and problem-solving to build strong relationships and promote a positive, accountable workplace. You’ll contribute to operational excellence and people programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in human resources, labor relations or business.
• Experience delivering professional HR, payroll, customer service, or admin duties in logistics, manufacturing or related fields.
• Knowledge of local HR laws and benefits.
• Proficiency with HRIS and MS Office suite.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work on the floor and partner with leaders.

Responsibilities

• Answer routine HR inquiries on disciplines, records, wages, absences, hiring, and policies and procedures.
• Participate in recruitment: review resumes, post jobs, interview candidates, complete onboarding paperwork.
• Conduct new hire orientation and safety training.
• Assist payroll and maintain HRIS data and employee records.
• Prepare HR reports and maintain seniority lists and related data.
• Collaborate with Employee Representatives/Union as applicable to resolve issues.
• Ensure benefits enrollment and timely changes.
• Investigate incidents and implement preventive measures.
