Job summary

Turnwell Mental Health is seeking an HR Generalist to partner with clinicians and leaders, owning full lifecycle HR processes. The role emphasizes equitable, trauma-informed hiring, onboarding, and policy maintenance in a healthcare setting.

You will manage employee relations with care, contribute to DEI efforts, and help scale HR operations while ensuring compliance with federal and state laws. Hybrid/Remote role with Nashville-area emphasis, salary range $65,000–$75,000.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HR generalist experience in healthcare or behavioral health preferred.
• Experience navigating federal and state employment laws.
• Ability to handle sensitive employee relations with discretion.
• Experience maintaining HR policies and documentation to regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end recruiting for non-clinical roles, from sourcing to offer.
• Lead onboarding to ensure new hires feel welcomed and informed from day one.
• Serve as a first point of contact for employee relations with empathy.
• Maintain and update HR policies, handbooks, and compliance documentation.
• Support performance management, reviews, PIPs, and coaching for managers.
• Track HR metrics like turnover and time-to-fill to inform leadership.
