Job summary

Dairyland Power in La Crosse, Wisconsin seeks an HR Generalist to provide day-to-day HR support for assigned client groups, partnering with employees and leaders to administer HR programs and apply policies.

Responsibilities include employee relations, recruiting and onboarding, performance management, HR data and reporting, compliance, and workforce planning, with guidance escalated to HR leadership for complex cases.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Human Resources or related field with 3+ years HR experience.
• HR certification (PHR/SHRM-CP) is a plus.
• Knowledge of recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and labor laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR support to assigned client groups and apply HR programs aligned with organizational needs.
• Respond to routine to moderately complex employee and labor relations matters.
• Support talent acquisition, retention, workforce planning, and succession planning.
• Coordinate onboarding logistics, including orientations and new hire paperwork.
• Collect and summarize HR data to support workforce planning, decision-making, and trend identification.
• Assist with trainings, change management, and process improvement.
