Job summary

Sunrun is seeking a Human Resources (People) Generalist to work in a traditional office or hybrid environment. The role partners with management on employee relations, training, performance management, engagement, compensation and retention, with travel to branches as needed.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or HR, 2+ years in HR Generalist, strong interpersonal skills, and proficiency in Workday and Google Suite. Spanish fluency is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, HR, or equivalent with 2+ years in HR Generalist.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Solid employee relations and conflict resolution abilities.
• Problem-solving and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel ~25% and work at local branches.
• Spanish fluency is a plus.
• Proficiency with Workday and Google Suite; AI tools helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR generalist and organizational support on a variety of People items.
• Guide managers and employees on HR policies, performance management and enablement.
• Consult with managers and employees on employee relations, investigations and resolution.
• Educate leaders on compensation, performance reviews, onboarding, and conflict resolution.
• Support Workday transactions and ensure changes are processed timely.
• Partner with COE groups to serve client groups and initiatives.
• Support engagement activities aligned with values and retention initiatives.
• Handle special projects or requests and travel to branches as needed.
