Job summary

Parker Hannifin’s Industrial Aftermarket Filtration business seeks a Human Resources Generalist for the Slater, MO facility. The role supports the HR Manager across shifts and engages with management, salaried and hourly employees to answer HR questions and resolve issues in line with company policies.

Responsibilities include recruiting, onboarding, training on compliance and benefits, administering wages, salaries, benefits, and 401(k), ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting performance

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree or 2-year college degree with equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of broad-based HR experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access or able to learn Access.
• Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills at all levels within the facility.
• Ability to work well with others as a participating team player.
• PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take an active role in understanding business issues, suggesting solutions, and following through to resolution.
• Recruit, hire, and conduct new employee orientation.
• Conduct training sessions related to compliance, benefits, and other topics as required.
• Participate in the administration of wages, salaries, benefits, and 401(k).
• Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
• Participate in performance management and development of hourly and salaried personnel.
• Administer and maintain HRIS.
• Explain and administer company policies and procedures.
• Facilitate group processes, enable and encourage employee involvement, and problem‑solve resulting in best practice.
