Job summary

SBH Fashion is seeking an HR Generalist to provide hands-on HR and administrative support within a growing company in New York. You will work closely with senior leaders, support employee relations, maintain personnel records, and help navigate organizational changes.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of HR generalist experience, excels at organization, and communicates professionally with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of HR generalist or related experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
• Experience supporting employee relations and HR administration.
• Ability to adapt as roles, teams, and processes evolve.
• Comfortable in a smaller organization with visible impact.
• Excellent communication and discretion when interacting with senior leadership.
• Self-directed and capable of working with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain personnel files and process employment-verification requests.
• Provide general HR administration and employee-relations support.
• Ensure employee information and documentation are accurate, complete, and confidential.
• Assist with office setup and preparations for executive-team and senior-leadership visits.
• Support the review, restructuring, and realignment of roles and teams.
• Help implement and communicate evolving HR processes and organizational changes.
• Build effective relationships with employees, senior leaders, and executives.
• Manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and positively influence change.
