Hapag-Lloyd AG is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support daily HR operations in Georgia and across US units. You will partner with HR teams to deliver services, drive compliance, and implement HR programs including payroll coordination and training.

The role requires 4–5 years of Employee Relations experience under US labor law, HRIS proficiency, and strong communication skills. This position emphasizes policy, compliance, and employee engagement in a dynamic environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
• Minimum 4 to 5 years of Employee Relations experience involving US Labor law and Compliance.
• Experience managing 200+ FTE preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing HRIS, building reports and processing employee data.
• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP a plus.
• Outgoing, empathetic, and patient, but practical
• Detail oriented
• High level of communication skills
• Work independently when needed
• Have fundamental business acumen
• Have excellent planning and execution skills
• Ability to take the initiative in a constantly changing work environment
• Microsoft Office Suites
• Knowledge of local (Georgia) and federal labor laws
• This position is in the United States and requires eligibility to work in the United States and completion of the employment eligibility form required under federal law.

Responsabilidades

• Develops and executes HR practices to support daily operations and strategic goals.
• Administer HR activities including employee and labor relations, benefits, compliance, health & safety, and training & development.
• Create, update, and enforce HR policies and guidelines in line with laws.
• Track and document training, continuing education, and safety programs.
• Support payroll and ensure timecards are approved in a timely manner.
• Handle HR programs including compensation, leave, disciplinary matters, investigations, and performance management.
• Address inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, escalating sensitive issues.
• Lead New Hire Orientation to introduce values and practices.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
