RiVidium Inc. in Vienna, VA is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to independently manage employee-facing HR matters across employee relations, leave and accommodation administration, compliance, onboarding/offboarding, and employee engagement in a government contracting environment.

The ideal candidate will conduct investigations, prepare clear documentation, respond to inquiries, and ensure compliance with employment laws and federal contractor requirements while handling FMLA and ADA

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience independently processing and administering ADA accommodations and FMLA claims.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience conducting and documenting employee relations investigations, including findings and recommended corrective action.
  • 3-5 years of experience supporting EEOC charges or comparable employment-related claims, including fact gathering and response documentation.
  • Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee information.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple cases and competing priorities, exercise sound judgment, and meet statutory and internal deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Independently conduct and document employee relations investigations involving workplace concerns, policy violations, harassment, discrimination, performance issues, and other employee complaints.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential investigation records and prepare clear, fact-based investigation summaries and other documentation as appropriate.
  • Partner with management and leadership to address employee relations matters, including performance management, corrective action, and separations, consistently and in accordance with company policies and applicable employment laws.
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and workplace practices.
  • Identify employee relations trends and recommend appropriate actions to mitigate risk and improve the employee experience.
  • Independently process and administer FMLA leave requests, including eligibility determinations, required notices, certifications, recertifications, and return-to-work documentation.
  • Independently manage ADA accommodation requests and engage in the interactive process with employees, managers, and other appropriate stakeholders.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding activities, including new-hire paperwork, HR systems, benefits coordination, orientation, and required documentation.
  • Conduct or coordinate employee orientation and ensure employees receive information regarding company policies, procedures, benefits, and expectations.
  • Conduct exit interviews and document feedback to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Respond to employee HR inquiries in a timely, professional, and confidential manner.
  • Support employee satisfaction and engagement initiatives, including surveys, feedback collection, and analysis of employee concerns.
  • Assist with offboarding activities, including exit documentation and coordination with appropriate internal departments.
  • Ensure HR transactions, HRIS updates, and personnel documentation are completed accurately and within established deadlines.
  • Support HR audits and compliance reviews.
