ES3 - Engineering and Software System Solutions, Inc. is seeking an HR Generalist to support compliance, benefits administration, and staff engagement from our San Diego, CA office.

This role focuses on delivering stellar HR services to employees and leadership while maintaining confidentiality. You will partner with department leaders to manage HR programs, onboarding, training, and timely responses to employee inquiries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Organization Management, Human Resource Management, Economics, Pre-Law, or related major preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist department in performing routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including compensation, benefits, and leave; worker’s compensation, disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development
• Support corporate benefit and wellness program administration with staff and external vendors
• Track and monitor required training and compliance schedules per federal and/or state agencies
• Maintain and report corporate review metrics and survey data analysis on various HR technology platforms through consistent and planned staff engagement activities
• Assist with the recruitment workflow for job postings, applicant review, interviews, hiring and onboarding of technical and professional staff through use of established platforms.
• Collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for position vacancies
• Initiate background check screenings and employee eligibility verifications, offer letter recordkeeping, new hire orientation and onboarding activities
• Respond to employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
• Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law, utilizing trade journals, newsletters, and government reports and/or attending training courses.
