Job summary

Astrana Health, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to support benefits administration, workers’ compensation, and leave management across multiple states.

You will partner with Payroll, HRIS, carriers, and vendors to ensure accurate, compliant HR operations while delivering excellent support to employees and managers. The role requires hands-on experience in benefits, leave administration, and workers’ compensation, with strong organizational skills to manage day-to-day

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration or related field preferred; equivalent combo of education and experience considered.
• PHR/SHRM-CP or relevant benefits/leave administration certification preferred.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible HR experience, with hands-on benefits, leave, and/or worker’s comp.
• California/multi-state experience preferred; cross-training across three HR functions encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Administer day-to-day health and welfare benefits enrollment and inquiries.
• Coordinate FMLA/CFRA, and other leave requirements; manage related documentation.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation claims and return-to-work processes.
• Maintain accurate case records and ensure regulatory compliance across states.
• Collaborate with Payroll, HRIS, carriers, and vendors to improve processes.
