Job summary

Crane Company is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join the Montgomery, TX team. The role balances strategic HR initiatives with hands-on daily support, focusing on talent acquisition, employee relations, onboarding, training, compliance, and engagement.

You will partner with leaders and associates, manage HR processes, and help build a positive workplace culture while supporting policies, reporting, and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of recruiting and staffing practices.
• Understanding of employment laws including EEO, ADA, AA, FMLA.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Montgomery, TX. This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys balancing strategic HR initiatives with hands-on daily support. You'll play a critical role in talent acquisition, employee relations, onboarding, training and development, compliance, and employee engagement while serving as a trusted partner to both leaders and associates.

What You’ll Do

As a key member of the HR team, you will:

• Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts from sourcing through onboarding

• Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives as well as site philanthropy activities
• Help drive engagement programs that strengthen company culture
• Assist with reporting, policy administration, workers' compensation, and compliance efforts

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of recruiting and staffing practices
• Understanding of employment laws including EEO, ADA, AA, FMLA, and related regulations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• High ethical standards, professionalism, and integrity

Preferred Qualifications

• PHR or SPHR certification
• Experience supporting a manufacturing environment
• Experience with ADP and/or Workday
• Experience implementing and maintaining HR policies and procedures
• Ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working in a matrix organization
