Job summary

Hardy Diagnostics is hiring a full-time HR Generalist in Springboro, Ohio. The role supports day-to-day HR operations, including recruiting, onboarding, and benefits administration, while upholding confidentiality and professional standards.

You will participate in meetings, manage HR records, coordinate trainings, and assist with safety and wellness initiatives. A two-year degree or higher in business or HR is required, with opportunity for professional development and ESOP participation.

Job description

We are looking for another dedicated person to join our team. We have an immediate opening for a full-time HR Generalist in Springboro, Ohio. If you have a passion for excellence and would like to join a stable, growing company, then we'd like to talk to you.

The HR Generalist position assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations in OH of the HR Department. Duties include; however, not limited to:

General
  • Actively participates in departmental and company meetings.
  • Upholds and encourages safety standards at all times.
  • Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars as requested to represent the department or the company or for professional development.
  • Operates various office machines to accomplish work tasks (e.g., computer, printer, fax, copier, multiline telephone).
  • Adheres to strict standards of confidentiality and integrity. Must agree to and uphold the Hardy Diagnostics Code of Ethical and Professional Standards in Human Resources Management.
Recruitment and Retention
  • Post job openings, screen candidates, proctor assessments and initially interviews candidates to ensure top talent skills and cultural fit.
  • Work with leadership to schedule interviews for candidates, ensuring clear, concise communication throughout hiring process.
  • Prepare offer letters and present to candidates. Manage the process of onboarding candidates for a seamless first day of employment.
  • Works with leadership and requests temporary employees, as needed.
  • Administers incentive and recognition programs such as Hardy Heroes, monthly birthday recognition and posting photos on company TV.
  • Oversees Wellness and Fun Committees; including, budgets, events (Health Fair) and involves employees for motivation and engagement.
Organization Development and Events
  • Fosters the development of a superior company culture by planning and implementing OH company events that communicate company core values to employees, customers, vendors, and/or the general public.
  • Chairs company Fun Committee and Wellness Committee. Assists other committees, as appropriate.
  • Prepares paperwork required for new hires and establishes electronic personnel file.
Organization Development
  • Assists with coordinating various trainings for employees, i.e., Harassment Prevention and LEAN.
  • Schedules and oversees annual Leadership Retreat and other trainings, as needed.
HR Department Administration
  • Processes and tracks FMLA - Leaves of Absences.
  • Processes new hire paperwork and files in HRIS system.
  • Purchases fruit for employees weekly.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required as are intermediate skills in MS Office Suite. An Associates Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field.
