The Human Resources Generalist / Recruiter is responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations while leading full-cycle recruitment for a variety of positions across the organization. This individual will serve as a trusted partner to managers, balancing recruiting responsibilities with onboarding, HR administration, process improvement initiatives, and cross-functional projects.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, managing their own workload, and challenging the status quo. Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Own the full-cycle recruitment process for assigned openings, from intake meetings through offer acceptance.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
- Source, screen, interview, and coordinate candidates while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
- Track recruiting metrics and recommend improvements to increase hiring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
Human Resources Operations
- Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation within the HRIS.
- Assist with HR programs, policy administration, and employee communications.
- Support day-to-day HR operations and provide guidance on HR processes and procedures.
HR Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Lead or participate in HR initiatives and cross-functional projects that improve business operations and the employee experience.
- Evaluate existing HR and recruiting processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement creative, practical solutions.
- Recommend new tools, workflows, and best practices to increase efficiency and support organizational growth.
- Bring fresh ideas and an innovative mindset to continuously evolve the HR function.
Compliance & Administration
- Ensure HR records and documentation are maintained accurately and confidentially.
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Assist with HR reporting, audits, and data management as needed.
- Partner with HR leadership and business leaders to support workforce planning and organizational initiatives.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand evolving talent needs and deliver effective hiring solutions.
- Build strong relationships across the organization while providing responsive, high-quality HR support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 3-7 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including full-cycle recruiting.
- Experience managing a full recruitment workload while supporting broader HR initiatives.
- Demonstrated success leading HR projects and improving processes.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment law.
- Experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems.
- Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, curious, and comfortable working independently.
- A creative thinker who enjoys finding new and better ways to solve problems and improve processes.
Compensation up to $45/HR DOE
