Job summary

Marksman Security is seeking an HR Generalist to join our Phoenix-area team and manage the employee lifecycle for security officers, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring compliance and a positive employee experience. You will collaborate with leaders to develop and enforce HR policies and drive continuous improvements in people processes.

Ideal candidates will have a degree in HR and at least 2 years of HR experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with ADP.

Qualifications

• Master's/bachelor’s degree in human resource management or related field preferred
• Minimum of two years of related Human Resources experience
• Knowledge of labor laws and regulations
• Experience with policy review and creation
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Excellent computer skills
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Attentive to detail
• Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with ADP is a plus

Responsibilities

• Monitor HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates, me-to-hire, and cost-per-hire)
• Ensure employees' requests and grievances are handled in a timely manner with professionalism and discretion
• Maintain HR procedures that comply with labor regulations
• Conduct employee investigations and investigate disciplinary actions, including but not limited to, interviewing witnesses and reviewing pertinent materials
• Recommend, prepare, and as appropriate, assist in the administration of corrective actions
• Enforce and assist in the development of company policies
• Maintain accurate records of employees with the use of reports and audits
• Other dues to be determined by management
