Marksman Security is seeking a full-time UnArmed Security Officer in Hapeville, GA. Responsibilities include deterring crime, monitoring access control, responding to emergencies, and maintaining a vigilant presence at lobby desks and patrol routes.

• Two years of customer service experience.
• Two years of security experience.

Responsibilities

• Deter criminal activity and misconduct.
• Respond to alarms, calls of distress, or emergencies by contacting police, fire departments and/or local emergency response teams.
• Make periodic patrols to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, and unauthorized persons.
• Operate access control systems and use security software or email for incident reports.
• Demonstrate strong customer service skills, professional demeanor, and appearance.
• Manage multiple tasks and communicate via radio/telephone in high-pressure environments.
• Assist security supervisor with other duties as needed.

Marksman Security Now Hiring for Experienced Security Officers

Ideal candidates will have previous security officer, security guard (armed or unarmed) experience, military and/or law enforcement experience.

Responsibilities:

• Deter criminal activity and misconduct
• Respond to alarms, calls of distress, or emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized persons by calling police, fire departments and/or local emergency response teams.
• Makes periodic patrols to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons
• Operate access control systems, utilize a computer for incident reports, navigate security software systems or applications, and use email.
• Demonstrate strong customer service skills, professional demeanor, and appearance.
• Demonstrate experience managing multiple tasks, executing radio and telephone communications and performing in a high-pressure environment
• Other duties to be determined by security supervisor

Qualifications:

• Prior law enforcement experience, military and/or corrections experience
• Applicants must meet one or any reasonable combination of the following requirements:
  • Two years of customer service experience
  • Two years of security experience
  • Law Enforcement Experience
  • Corrections Experience
  • Military Experience
  • Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice or something similar

Requirements:

• Valid state licensing, if applicable
• 21 years of age and High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
• Technology skills: operate access control system, utilize a computer for incident reports, operate security software systems or applications, use email.
• Strong customer service skills, professional demeanor and appearance.
• Experience managing multiple tasks, executing radio and telephone communications while performing in a medium to high pressure environment with frequently changing and/or competing demands.
• Familiarity with report writing
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills
• Possess above average written and verbal communication skills.
• Possess strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to interact effectively with client staff and the public.
• Trained in CPR and First Aid preferred
