Job summary

Smarty, LLC. in Orem, UT is seeking an HR Generalist to join our Employee Experience team.

This hands-on role covers full-cycle recruiting, HRIS administration, onboarding, offboarding, policies, benefits, and compliance while maintaining confidential data in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment. You’ll partner with hiring managers, support performance management, help with compensation actions, employee engagement, and culture initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
• Experience with Rippling or a comparable HRIS/ATS platform.
• Solid grasp of core HR functions including recruiting, onboarding, and compliance.

We're looking for an HR Generalist to join this team and help build the systems, processes, and moments that make Smarty a great place to work. This is a full-time, onsite role based in Orem, UT.

What you’ll do:

This is a hands-on, people-focused role where you'll touch nearly every part of the team member experience. You'll be:

• Managing full-cycle recruiting for assigned requisitions, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer extension
• Serving as primary administrator for our HRIS, maintaining accurate team member data and generating reports as needed
• Coordinating new hire onboarding and offboarding, including paperwork, system setup, and logistics
• Responding to team member inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and general HR matters
• Maintaining HR compliance documentation and recordkeeping, and tracking required trainings and reporting
• Supporting benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and vendor coordination
• Assisting with performance management processes, including documentation and tracking
• Maintaining team member files and records in accordance with legal and company requirements
• Advising hiring managers on compensation execution, including offer letters and pay change requests
• Supporting employee engagement and culture initiatives

Who you are:

• 2 or more years of experience as an HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, or similar
• Experience with Rippling or a comparable HRIS/ATS platform strongly preferred
• Solid grasp of core HR functions, including recruiting, onboarding, and compliance basics
• Strong attention to detail and comfort with confidential information
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
• A team member focused mindset and genuine interest in employee experience
• SaaS or technology company experience is a plus

• Compensation range for this position is $70,000 - $85,000; compensation grows with experience and role level
