Michael Page is representing a global fintech client seeking a Temp HR Generalist to join the Midtown team for a 3-6 month contract with potential extension. The role focuses on recruitment, onboarding, and supporting various HR initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Based in New York, the position offers hybrid flexibility with three days on-site, collaboration with senior leadership, and exposure to a growing organization in the financial services sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
• 3+ years HR-related experience (HR operations, recruiting, or generalist support).
• Professional proficiency in Mandarin.
• Strong communication skills and interest in financial services.
• Comfortable in a smaller, fast-moving team environment and eager to learn.
• Basic knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and HR best practices.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate full-cycle recruitment, interview scheduling, candidate comms, and ATS upkeep.
• Assist with background checks via third-party vendors and support compliance processes.
• Support onboarding, maintain employee records, and assist with benefits/leave administration.
• Serve as contact for employee inquiries and ensure policy application.
• Contribute to culture and employee engagement initiatives to promote a collaborative environment.

Our client is looking for an Temp HR Generalist to join their team in Midtown for a 3-6 month contract with possible extension. In this role you will be responsible for recruitment efforts, onboarding, and special projects. This is an incredibly opportunity to establish a strong HR foundation in the financial services industry. The role will be 3 days onsite.

Description

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
