Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to provide hands-on HR support during a busy year-end period. This role will partner closely with HR leadership and cross-functional teams to support key HR programs, year-end processes, employee relations, benefits, recruiting, HRIS data integrity, and compliance activities.The ideal candidate brings broad HR experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to step into a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities with minimal oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Support year-end HR activities, including performance review administration, merit and bonus planning, and compliance reporting.
- Assist with talent management, change management, and leadership development programs.
- Provide recruiting support, including scheduling, coordination, and reporting.
- Assist with open enrollment and benefits administration during peak year-end activity.
- Audit and maintain HRIS data to ensure accuracy for year-end reporting and payroll-related processes.
- Support employee relations matters by responding to employee questions and escalating issues when appropriate.
- Assist with HR policy and employee handbook updates in preparation for the new year.
- Partner with Payroll and Finance on compensation and headcount reconciliation.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding transactions.
- Prepare data and documentation for annual compliance requirements, including EEO-1 and ACA reporting, as needed.
- Support HR process improvements and other special projects identified by HR leadership.
- Perform additional HR-related responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience in an HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, HR Manager, or similar capacity.
- Strong working knowledge of employee relations, benefits, compensation, HRIS administration, and HR compliance.
- Previous experience supporting year-end HR processes, including performance management, open enrollment, compensation cycles, and compliance reporting, strongly preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment while maintaining strong communication and collaboration with the broader team.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate and confidential employee information.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
- Experience within life sciences, technology, or professional services environments is a plus.
