We're looking for an HR Generalist to be the go-to HR person for our Jersey City office. In a fast-moving, highly regulated industry, you'll help recruit the talent that keeps our teams at the top of their game, manage employee licensing and registration with gaming regulators, and be the trusted, approachable resource our people turn to with questions. With the full support of our HR North America team behind you, you'll play a key role in building a strong, compliant, and engaged team on the ground.

Finding Our Next Stars

• Lead full-cycle recruitment for our local teams department, with a focus on our Operations team.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand what great looks like, then go find it.
• Screen candidates, coordinate interviews, make hiring recommendations, and guide new hires through the offer stage.
• Build talent pipelines so we're always a step ahead of our hiring needs.

Keeping Us Licensed and Ready to Play

• Track and monitor occupational licensure for our New Jersey team, including new applications, renewals, and status changes.
• Guide employees through licensing requirements so the process feels simple, not stressful.
• Spot risks early and work with the HR North America team to resolve them quickly.

Being the Local HR Go-To

• Answer everyday HR questions and connect employees with the right experts on the wider HR team.
• Handle HR admin with care, including employee records, documentation, and onboarding coordination.
• Team up with IT, office management, and local leaders to make every new hire's first day a great one.
• Keep a pulse on how the office is feeling, and share what you're hearing to help us build an even better workplace.

Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 USD

Role requirements

• Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• 2-5 years of HR experience with a strong recruiting background.
• Experience in a regulated industry such as gaming or financial services is a big plus.
• Familiarity with occupational or gaming licensing will make you stand out.
• Working knowledge of New Jersey employment practices.
• Sound judgment, discretion, and a trustworthy approach to confidential information.
• A people-first attitude and communication skills that put everyone at ease.
• A sense of ownership and the confidence to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfort with HRIS and applicant tracking systems; UKG experience is a bonus.
