Job summary

University Support Services seeks a Specialist, Human Resources to foster a positive workplace culture, provide guidance on routine employee relations matters, and drive engagement and wellness programs across the organization.

You will serve as a key connector across HR COEs, ensuring employees and managers have access to information, resources, and support throughout the employee lifecycle, including communications and content management.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of HR experience, including 3–5 years in Employee Relations
• Experience with culture transformation initiatives is a plus
• Experience in higher education or health care settings preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as a first point of contact for employee and manager questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and workplace concerns.
• Provide guidance on routine employee relations matters while escalating complex issues to HR partners.
• Support documentation, case tracking, and follow-up activities as needed.
• Help ensure consistent application of HR policies and practices.
• Identify trends and recurring employee concerns and share insights with HR leadership.
