Job summary

Flex-N-Gate is seeking a Human Resources / Environmental, Health & Safety Coordinator in Lake Orion, MI to develop and administer companywide safety programs and oversee ISO management. The role coordinates safety initiatives within divisions and designs preventive safety measures.

The position requires a university degree or equivalent, 10 years of manufacturing safety experience, strong communication, and the ability to lead training and safety teams across the organization.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in a related field and strong OHSA knowledge.
• Ten years safety-related experience in manufacturing.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with safety data, reporting, and HRIS tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety orientation, training, and site inspections.
• Monitor OHSA compliance and implement regulations.
• Prepare reports and recommendations for safety improvements.
• Coordinate safety programs across divisions and departments.
• Develop enterprise safety standards and training programs.
• Advise management on safety issues and decisions.
• Provide guidance to field personnel and managers on safety matters.
• Lead or participate in safety teams and special task forces.
