Job summary

Flex-N-Gate is seeking a Human Resource Coordinator responsible for HR duties, onboarding and employee relations. You will work with the HR Manager and plant leadership to support policy implementation and compliance.

The role requires a four-year degree preference and several years in HR, with strong communication and organizational skills. On-site position supporting operations in Michigan, with benefits and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

Proficient with MS Office and HRIS systems.
Strong verbal and written communication.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Attention to detail and high level of confidentiality.
Ability to read, write and speak English effectively.

Responsibilities

Maintain confidentiality of employee information and company records.
Administer transfers, leaves of absence, status changes and employee data updates.
Collect new hire information for payroll and enter into HRIS/Timekeeping systems.
File personnel, medical, and workers' compensation documents.
Oversee contract job bidding, postings, shift preferences and timing changes.
Answer wage verification inquiries from employees and agencies.
