Flex-N-Gate in Michigan seeks a seasoned Human Resources / Environmental, Health & Safety Coordinator to design, administer, and optimize companywide safety programs. You will oversee OSHA compliance, safety training, and incident reporting across divisions, while guiding field personnel and management on safety best practices.

Qualifications

• University Degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Community College diploma in a related field.
• Ten years safety experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety orientation and training; conduct site inspections and reporting.
• Monitor OHSA amendments and enforce regulatory compliance.
• Perform job site safety inspections including hazard analysis and safe work procedures.
• Ensure adherence to the safety program by all employees and contractors.
• Plan, design and deliver WHMIS, Fall Protection, PPE, CPR/First Aid training for staff.
• Ensure timely accident/injury reporting to Corporate Office.
• Coordinate safety personnel and develop safety programs across divisions.
• Develop safety standards aligned with industry, federal and provincial regulations.
• Lead safety teams on special projects and share guidance with staff.
• Provide training to managers on occupational safety issues.
