Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental management, health & safety or related field.
• Five years environmental management experience in manufacturing.
• Current waste water and storm water certifications.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, compliance and reporting.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with database apps and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and in teams with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental management training, inspections and reporting.
• Perform site compliance inspections including labeling, waste, spill prevention and storm water.
• Monitor adherence to environmental programs for employees and contractors.
• Coordinate emergency response teams across shifts.
• Plan and deliver training on regulatory compliance for supervisors and staff.
• Direct environmental personnel and mentor junior staff.
• Maintain up-to-date regulatory knowledge and industry best practices.
