Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, management, business administration or equivalent.
• At least three years of progressive HR experience.
• Two years of supervisory experience.
• Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Not-for-profit or governmental experience preferred.
• HRIS experience preferred.
• Professional HR Certification preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Must obtain and maintain HIPAA and confidentiality agreements.
• Must obtain and maintain a driver’s license.
• Background check and a 10-panel drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement organizational development programs.
• Collaborate with leadership on staffing, recruiting, and retention strategies.
• Develop tactics to improve retention and reduce turnover.
• Oversee onboarding and training programs.
• Partner with leadership on corrective actions and outcomes.
• Support HR policies, procedures, and compliance.
• Establish and ensure department accountability.
• Compile and analyze data to evaluate program effectiveness.
• Prepare and distribute HR metrics reports.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
• Evaluate employee benefit plans for alignment with objectives.
• Conduct investigations and guide leaders on outcomes.
• Support HR objectives with surveys and recognition programs.
• Manage HR forms and maintain employee records in the HRIS.
• Oversee health and wellness programs and succession planning.
• Coordinate public relations activities related to HR initiatives.
