DivergeIT, Inc. is seeking a Director of HR to own the full HR function and guide the company from 75 to 300+ employees. This is a hands-on leadership role, with 100% onsite for the first 90 days and primarily onsite thereafter in Torrance, CA or Plano, TX.

The role requires building teams, implementing systems, and ensuring multi-state compliance across CA and TX while aligning with our four core values. Base salary is $145,000 to $165,000 with an annual bonus tied to HR KPIs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years HR experience with increasing responsibility.
• 2+ years leading an HR function.
• Experience scaling a company from under 100 to 300+ employees.
• Hands-on M&A integration experience.
• California and Texas employment law knowledge plus multi-state compliance.
• Experience hiring technical talent; MSP or IT services background a plus.
• Ability to explain equity incentive programs clearly to employees.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HR team and oversee offices in Torrance and Plano.
• Own the KPI scorecard, quarterly reviews, and retention initiatives.
• Drive acquisitions from people side, including due diligence and onboarding.
• Ensure policy compliance across all states where employees work.
• Hire and coach to our core values as the company scales.
