Job summary

Chattahoochee Technical College seeks an experienced Human Resources Director - Operations to lead compensation, benefits, employee relations, and compliance. The role partners with the VP of HR to drive strategic initiatives and ensure high-performing teams.

The position oversees policy development, job classification, payroll processes, and investigations, with telework eligibility up to 80%. Open until filled; anticipated start November 2026.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or closely related field and two years of full-time HR experience.
• Master’s degree in Human Resources or JD in Employment Law preferred.
• Experience in HR Operations in a State of Georgia Agency preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel; supervisory experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day HR operations including compensation, classification, benefits, employee relations, EEO and OCR investigations.
• Oversees development and maintenance of compensation/classification plans and job descriptions.
• Ensures compliance with state and federal HR laws; maintains Open Records requests.
• Leads performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and staff development; manages HR reporting and analytics.
