Key Responsibilities For The Director Of Human Resources
  • Lead the overall HR strategy, policies, and people initiatives across the organization.
  • Partner with executive leadership on workforce planning, organizational development, and succession planning.
  • Oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and performance management programs.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and labor regulations.
  • Manage union-related HR matters and support positive labor-management relationships.
  • Develop employee engagement, retention, and leadership development programs.
Qualifications For The Director Of Human Resources
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including HR leadership responsibilities.
  • Union labor relations experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and compliance.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.
