The Training Specialist has the principal responsibility for planning, coordinating, analyzing, designing, implementing, and evaluating the full spectrum of technical training programs for the National Transportation Safety Board.

This position reports to the Deputy Chief Human Capital Officer in the Office of Human Capital Management and Training. It also involves LMS administration, training material development, and managing training procurements with the contracting team.

Qualifications

• No education substitutions at these grades.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop training materials and determine delivery methods.
• Serve as LMS Administrator: manage course registrations, completions, user roles/permissions, troubleshoot issues.
• Act as Contracting Officer Representative for training procurements and coordinate with contracting team.
• Establish strategic partnerships, assess organizational skills gaps, and identify training needs.
