Job summary

Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission is seeking an HR Data Management Specialist to compile, clean, organize, and report workforce data that informs leadership decisions. You will maintain HR dashboards, ensure data integrity across HR systems, and prepare clear reports and presentations under supervision.

Reporting to the HR Manager in the Office of the Director, you will support training initiatives, turnover reporting, and data-driven recruitment metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in HR, finance, business, or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in HR, finance, or related admin area.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted (total 5 years).
• Preferred: 1–2 years in HR data, reporting or analytics support.
• Proficiency with HR data systems (Airtable, NeoGov, LaborSoft, Infor Lawson) and Excel/Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HR metrics, measurements, and reporting requirements with accuracy.
• Create and sustain HR dashboards and reports using Excel/Power BI.
• Communicate insights to HR leadership and stakeholders clearly and timely.
• Compile data on turnover, recruitment metrics, and training outcomes for leadership.
• Assist with HR training data, policies, and data-system usage guidance.
