Job summary

IOM Global Office Washington DC is seeking a Human Resources and Data Associate to support HR operations, data management, onboarding, and payroll processes. The role requires meticulous data handling across HR systems and collaboration with regional teams to ensure compliance and timely processing.

The successful candidate will leverage Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Power Query, and Power Automate to produce dashboards, reports, and data analyses, while maintaining confidential personnel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Psychology, or a related field with 3 years of relevant experience.
• High school diploma with five years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating recruitment processes; draft and post Vacancy Notices; screen applications; participate in interviews; prepare offers and records.
• Support onboarding activities: Entry on Duty docs, medical clearances, insurance and retirement plans enrollment; organize induction and orientation.
• Maintain HR data in WAVE/Oracle; verify eligibility for entitlements; monitor status and initiate contract actions and payroll entries.
• Maintain HR trackers, databases, dashboards, and reporting tools; ensure data validation and access controls.
• Support payroll processing; enter payroll elements; reconcile payroll reports; maintain audit trails.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and recurring management reports using Power BI and advanced Excel.
