Job summary

Ohio Machinery Co. is seeking an HR Data Analyst to collect, compile, and analyze HR data to support management reporting and analytics.

The role maintains HRIS data integrity, supports compensation reporting, and creates documentation and training for HR databases and tools. The ideal candidate has 4–7 years of HR reporting/data experience, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with Dayforce HCM and SharePoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, statistics, computer science, mathematics, business, healthcare or related field.
• 4–7 years of HR reporting/data experience or equivalent.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, CCP or CEBS preferred.
• Experience with Dayforce HCM is a plus.
• Understanding of HR functions, reporting, and record-keeping requirements.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal HR laws compliance.
• Advanced Excel skills: Pivot Tables, VLookup/XLookup, If/Then, etc.
• Working knowledge of SharePoint, HRIS and database software, and report writing and queries.

Responsibilities

• Collect, compile, and analyze HR data to support management reporting.
• Maintain HRIS data integrity and prepare routine and ad hoc HR reports.
• Support compensation reporting and surveys; prepare compensation reports and recommendations.
• Provide training and troubleshooting for HR systems and tools.
• Assist with rollout activities for new HR systems and initiatives.
• Deliver data analysis and insights on HR projects and metrics.
• Stay informed on HR regulations affecting compensation practices.
