Kimley-Horn is seeking an HR Coordinator for the Reston, Virginia office to join the HR team. This is not a remote position and involves onboarding, regional HR support, and collaboration across offices.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR or related field, interest in HR certifications, and proficiency in MS Office. Travel to regional offices may be required, with a robust benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in Human Resources or related field.
• Interest in HR profession with internships or related work.
• Willingness to pursue PHR or SHRM-CP certification.
• Proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with HRIS systems; UKG Pro is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead new hire orientations and onboarding processes.
• Support regional career check-ins and HR initiatives.
• Process employee data changes in HRIS and maintain accuracy.
• Assist with class changes and termination paperwork.
• Support regional training programs and Strong Start sessions.
• Collaborate with HR Partners on employee relations and performance
• Respond promptly to employee inquiries and assist external client requests
• Support special regional or company-wide HR projects.
