Job summary

LA Kings is seeking an HR Coordinator to support Human Resources across both the LA Kings and Ontario Reign. You will handle onboarding/offboarding, payroll processing, employee records, and training coordination, while assisting managers with HR policies and best practices.

The role spans recruitment support, data integrity audits, and quarterly HR initiatives, including employee recognition events. Candidates should have HR experience, be highly organized, and able to work game days and

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business, Human Resources, or related field.
• 2–4 years of HR experience.
• Experience with HRIS systems.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Availability to work game days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain employee files and records; process data updates.
• Handle onboarding/offboarding and new hire setup in UKG.
• Assist payroll, benefits, and HR processes.
• Support recruitment activities and background checks.
• Participate in employee meetings and HR policy guidance.
• Ensure data privacy and conduct audits of employee data.
• Liaise on ABI system issues and payroll data integrity.
• Coordinate employee recognition and wellness initiatives.
• Prepare and maintain job descriptions.
