Job summary

Surya Carpet is seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to support HR functions in Tate, GA. This role focuses on data entry, hourly payroll, onboarding, and day-to-day HR tasks, offering hands-on experience for an early-career HR professional.

You will work with ADP systems, maintain accurate employee records, and contribute to recruitment support and HR initiatives to help the team run smoothly.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of administrative, HR, payroll, or related experience preferred.
• Strong data entry skills with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information appropriately.
• Effective organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to follow established procedures and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Consistent attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.
• Dependable, professional, and customer-service oriented.
• ADP Workforce Now experience preferred.
• Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently on assigned responsibilities while also working effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with new hire processing, onboarding activities, and new hire orientation.
• Provide administrative support for employee changes, including job changes, transfers, and other personnel updates.
• Assist with I-9 and E-Verify processing.
• Support employee recognition activities, company meetings, and other HR initiatives.
• Assist with the accurate and timely processing of hourly payroll according to established deadlines and procedures.
• Enter and maintain accurate employee information in ADP and other HR systems.
• Maintain organized and accurate employee records and documentation.
• Assist with recruiting activities, including interview scheduling and candidate communication.
• Maintain accurate candidate and employee information.
• Provide general administrative support to the HR Team, including reporting, various projects and HR initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
