Job summary

Rocky Mountain Care is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support the HR department in Utah. You will assist with personnel records, onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and compliance with state and federal employment laws.

The role requires confidentiality, meticulous record-keeping, and collaboration with managers to coordinate interviews, policy interpretation, training, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or associate degree in HR or business administration preferred.
• Experience with onboarding, offboarding, and employee benefits preferred.
• Basic understanding of HR and state/federal employment laws and practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating the HR department.
• Maintain written job descriptions and performance evaluations for staff.
• Review requests for new or replacement personnel and arrange interviews.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee information per Privacy Act and company policy.
• Verify right to work and maintain personnel records and filing system.
• Ensure compliance with wages, overtime, and other regulations.
• Assist with onboarding, payroll procedures, and employee training.
• Conduct background checks and manage recruitment and hiring processes.
• Promote teamwork, safety, and positive work environment.
