Job summary

Flex-N-Gate is seeking a Human Resource Manager to lead plant-level HR strategy and operations. You will apply HR principles to support short- and long-term business goals and partner with the plant to implement company-wide HR projects.

You will coordinate recruitment, training, policy administration, and employee relations, ensuring compliance and operational effectiveness across the site.

Qualifications

• University Degree in related field or Community College diploma in related field.
• Five years’ experience in Human Resources.
• Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets professional journals, financial reports, government regulations and legal documents.
• Strong organizational and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Proficiency with database applications and administration systems, specifically Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Advise and interpret HR policies and procedures for associates and managers, ensuring compliance.
• Counsel management on associate relations and policy adherence.
• Assist in drafting/revising HR policies and procedures; present to HR Director for approval.
• Coordinate training participation through community schools and vendors.
• Recruit and hire personnel and monitor staffing requirements across departments.
• Manage exit processes, documentation, and interviews to determine reasons for separations.
• Prepare departmental metrics and reports to reduce absenteeism and turnover.
• Oversee new employee orientation and training programs.
• Represent the organization in hearings or investigations as needed.
