Job summary

SST Jobs is seeking an HR Coordinator for a direct hire opportunity in McGregor, TX. The role focuses on full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and HR support for a manufacturing workforce.

You will collaborate with managers, develop pipelines, and guide employees through policy, benefits, payroll, and performance processes. Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred; strong MS Office and HRIS skills are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in HR, recruiting, or HR coordination in a manufacturing or hourly workforce.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field preferred.
• Experience supporting employee relations in a manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support full-cycle recruiting for manufacturing, skilled trades, administrative, and professional positions.
• Partner with hiring managers on staffing needs, interviews, candidate selection, offers, and pre-employment requirements.
• Build talent pipelines through job fairs, community events, school partnerships, and workforce development initiatives.
• Serve as a trusted HR resource for policies, attendance, benefits, payroll-related questions, and workplace concerns.
• Support employee relations activities, including coaching, corrective action, performance management, engagement, retention, and recognition.
• Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation, ensuring a professional and welcoming employee experience.
• Manage employee records, HRIS updates, offboarding activities, and other employee lifecycle processes.
• Coordinate training, performance reviews, engagement initiatives, employee events, and recognition programs.
• Assist with HR reporting, workforce analytics, headcount, turnover, recruiting metrics, and compliance-related activities.
• Partner with HR leadership on process improvements, workforce planning, policies, compensation, employee development, and other HR initiatives.
