Job summary

Legends Global is seeking an HR Coordinator to support our Human Resources team at the Hawaii Convention Center. You will manage the employee lifecycle, maintain records, coordinate onboarding and offboarding, and assist with recruitment logistics.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information in a fast-paced venue environment. A high school diploma and 2–4 years HR admin experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or degree preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in HR administration or a similar large-scale administrative role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Excel and SharePoint preferred.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems; Workday experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, orientation, and new hire documentation for venue employees.
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with policies, federal and state employment laws, and HR documentation requirements.
• Support hourly and salaried recruitment by scheduling interviews and coordinating hiring logistics.
• Serve as HR resource for benefits, payroll, policies, timekeeping and employee relations; escalate issues as needed.
• Assist HR programs and initiatives, including engagement activities, training coordination, performance management, and recognition.
• Partner with venue leadership to support workforce planning, staffing reports and HR metrics; ensure a compliant workplace.
