Job summary

BlueScope Buildings North America, Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support HR processes, benefits, policies, and payroll. You will assist with recruitment, HRIS guidance (Workday), onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives. A Bachelor’s degree and HR experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Human Resources experience.
• Knowledge and application of employment laws.
• Knowledge and application of benefit plans.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HRIS systems and perform related changes in Workday.
• Support recruitment: postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and pre-employment activities such as background checks.
• Coordinate onboarding activities and post-employment processes.
• Respond to internal and external HR inquiries and explain policies and benefits.
• Assist with employee engagement and benefits communications.
• Coordinate key HR projects and manage leave programs including FMLA.
