Job summary

Cascades in Lancaster, NY is seeking an HR Coordinator to join a dynamic manufacturing facility and start an HR career journey in a hands-on role supporting employee relations, recruitment, training, workforce planning, and HR operations.

You will enter and maintain employee data, support full-cycle hourly recruitment, onboarding, and exit processes, and serve as a resource for HR programs, benefits, and disability management in a collaborative, people-first environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Education in Human Resources (undergraduate or postgraduate).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
• Knowledge of employment standards, health & safety regulations, disciplinary procedures, and disability management.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain employee data in payroll and HR systems (positions, life cycle events).
• Support full-cycle hourly recruitment, onboarding, and exit processes.
• Act as a resource for employees on HR programs, benefits, and disability management.
• Manage payroll-related activities, employment trackers, and short-term disability files.
• Support workforce planning, training coordination, and maintaining the training matrix.
• Coordinate temporary staffing and assist with employee engagement initiatives.
• Respond to HR, payroll, and systems-related inquiries from employees and supervisors.
• Weekly and monthly finance reporting and inventory support.
