Job summary

Home Instead - Chicago, Skokie, Des Plaines is looking for an HR Coordinator to manage the full lifecycle of Care Professionals. The role includes recruiting, ensuring compliance with regulations, and enhancing employee engagement initiatives.

The ideal candidate possesses HR experience, is organized, and understands the challenges in the home care industry. Benefits include flexible PTO, medical, dental and vision insurance, plus a 401k with company match after one year.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of HR or recruiting experience.
• Experience in home care, senior living, or a healthcare setting is a plus.
• Familiarity with state healthcare regulations and caregiver credentials is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and interview qualified Care Professional applicants.
• Conduct pre-employment background checks, drug screenings, and reference checks.
• Facilitate weekly or bi-weekly new hire orientations for Care Pros.
• Develop and execute retention strategies for Care Professionals.
• Work with leadership to address performance issues and uphold policies.
