The University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee (UWM) is seeking a detail‑oriented, service‑driven HR Coordinator to join our HR Shared Services team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, supporting employees, and contributing to a collaborative and mission‑focused HR environment. As an HR Coordinator, you will work closely with HR Business Partners to support the daily operations of the Human Resources function. You will play a key role in ensuring data accuracy, supporting recruitment processes, and serving as a primary point of contact for onboarding and employee inquiries. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing high‑quality service to employees across campus.
Collaborate with the HRBP, HR Specialist, and other offices on matters such as immigration status, salary changes, overloads, and other HR procedures.
Maintain personnel files in accordance with applicable guidelines.
Coordinate recruitment processes:
Assist with employee offboarding and direct inquiries to appropriate parties when necessary.
Target Salary Range: $21.00–$23.00 per hour
