Responsibilities

Mesilla Valley Hospital, established in 1987, provides treatment for psychiatric and substance abuse issues. It is a 120-bed facility serving residents of New Mexico, West Texas, and Arizona. The hospital is committed to delivering quality mental health and addiction services through partnerships with various healthcare and community organizations.

We are seeking a performance-driven individual with innovative ideas to join our Human Resources Department as a Human Resources Coordinator.

Position Summary

The HR Coordinator supports the facility's human resources functions, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, orientation, employment processing, records management, data integrity, unemployment correspondence, and employee activities and training.

Qualifications
Experience/Education

Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience, preferably in a healthcare setting. Clerical, computer skills, and excellent customer service skills are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and other office software is necessary.

Skills

Strong organizational and prioritization skills are essential. Attention to detail for accurate documentation and database management in a high-volume, fast-paced environment is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary. Knowledge of employment laws and regulations is a must.
