Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related fields is required.
• HR certification is a plus and may strengthen candidacy.
• Combination of education and similar experience may be substituted.

Responsibilities

• Plans and formulates general personnel policies including workforce planning.
• Oversees compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Oversees recruiting, interviewing, testing, selection, placement, and New Hire Orientation.
• Implements education, coaching, training, and professional development programs.
• Coordinates employee appraisal, transfer, promotion, layoff, recall and termination processes.
• Administers compensation programs for overtime eligible and non-eligible employees.
• Manages employee benefit plans and disclosure of benefits information.
• Maintains employee relations and healthy work environment.
• Oversees budgeting and cost management related to HR initiatives.
• All other related duties as assigned.
