Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR experience with responsibility for HR compliance.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
• Experience with personnel file audits and compliance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate employee personnel records and confidential information.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding, including forms, documentation, training, and certifications.
• Respond to HR questions and support employee relations matters.
• Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
• Conduct personnel file and HR process audits; address compliance gaps.
• Track licenses, certifications, required training, and renewals.
• Support audits, workers' compensation, unemployment claims, and reporting.
• Stay current on employment law changes and communicate updates to management.
