Job summary

SUGIYO USA, Inc. in Anacortes, WA seeks an HR professional to support labor law compliance, recruitment, and general HR administration for a 40-year-old, growing food manufacturer.

You will implement HR processes, coordinate with ERP upgrades, maintain both digital and hard-copy records, and help staff onboarding and offboarding while ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in efficient administration of Washington and Federal labor law compliance including DOL, L&I, OSHA, WISHA, ESD, FMLA, PFML, ACA, EEOC, E-Verify, ERISA… along with company PPGs and SOPs.
• Willingness to adopt upgrades and new ERPs while continuing maintain some hard-copy documentation.
• Experience in recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding.
• Adequate education to enable understanding and communicating labor laws, prepare formal written communication and strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Ensure labor law compliance (Washington and federal) across HR operations.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
• Maintain HR records and administer HR processes.
• Assist ERP upgrades and balance digital with hard-copy documentation.

A key role in supporting and protecting a 40-year-old and growing company by ensuring labor law compliance, recruitment, and general HR administration. You will not have to \"counsel & nurture\" in this position.
