Job Title: HR Coordinator
Hourly Rate: $25.00-$28.00
Job Status: Full Time
Work Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30 AM-5:00 PM
Work Location: Lynnwood, Washington
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the orientation and onboarding process for new employees.
- Complete Forms I-9, verify I-9 documentation, and maintain I-9 files.
- Submit online background check requests and assist with new-employee background checks.
- Prepare new-employee files and maintain accurate personnel files, training files, and digital records.
- Provide customer service by answering employee requests and questions in person, by phone, and via email.
- Monitor benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Verify employment and conduct audits of training files, benefits, and other HR records (weekly/monthly).
- Assist in processing background checks and scheduling fingerprint appointments/renewals as needed.
- Enter and maintain employee information in Ceridian Dayforce and Relias.
- Maintain training tracking systems and ensure training compliance for all employees.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, benefits, compensation, and performance management for non-faculty employees.
- Manage and organize employee records in accordance with legal requirements and company policy.
- Coordinate rollout of new training initiatives, policies, and procedures.
- Assist with disciplinary action support and prepare training reports and certifications.
- Ensure staff performance appraisals (90-day, probationary, and annual) are conducted and filed.
- Assist with terminations and exit interviews as appropriate.
- Maintain training requirements and certifications for all employees.
- Communicate with Directors and Supervisors regarding training compliance (weekly as per SOP).
- Collaborate with other departments to address HR and training questions.
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Working understanding of human resources principles, practices, and procedures.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a high-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
- At least two years of related experience required.
- SHRM-CP credential preferred.

Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to fifteen pounds at times.
